THE GOLDIEBOXX STORY
I hate to admit this… but I was blindly supporting fast-fashion for many years.
The amount of jewellery I would toss after a few months of wear is something I am not proud of.
I would drop $50-$150 a pop for gold plated jewellery that lasted mere months before fading into a waterlogged dull colour.
So, I’d buy a new piece.
But I’d never lash out and get solid gold, because the trends change so quickly.
Plus, I liked getting something ‘new’.
And the cycle would continue.
But one day, I bought myself a jewellery making kit.
I spent a few hours beading my own pieces and getting lost in the joy of creation.
It was SO good for the soul.
The only problem was, the quality was terrible. The metals tarnished after one day of wear, and I was left with dark marks on my skin.
I googled “high-quality jewellery making kit.” Nothing.
I went to every local craft & bead shop. Nothing.
So, I created my own.
From that moment, I made an oath to never buy fast fashion jewellery again.
〰️ I saved hundreds of wasted dollars on overpriced jewellery with a short lifespan.
〰️ I was doing the planet a world of good, by reusing and recycling materials.
〰️ And I was giving my mental state a warm hug by getting lost in the art of creation.

I thought this was too good not share with the world, so I put all of my tried and tested materials into a handy little kit so you can experience the joy of jewellery making too.
