6 SIMPLE STEPS TO LOOK AFTER YOUR GOLDIEBOXX JEWELLERY 

While our PVD gold coated pieces are anti-tarnish, rough wear & tear may cause issues over time. Don't worry! Here are 6 easy steps to maintain the shine and longevity of your Goldieboxx Jewellery.

1. Rinse with fresh water and pat dry after wearing your jewellery in the ocean.

2. Put jewellery on after you have applied moisturiser, perfume, make up, etc.

3. Avoid contact with detergents, soaps, fake tan, etc. 

4. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals in swimming pools and spas. 

5. To clean your jewellery, use a cotton ball and lightly wipe down any dirt or oils. Do not use any harsh cleaning chemicals or leave soaked in water. 

6. When you're not wearing it (although, we doubt that'll be often ☺️) store it in it’s Goldieboxx Jewellery keepsake bag away from moisture to prevent oxidation and safe from scratching. 

… and if you’re the kinda gal who never takes her jewellery off, that’s okay too!

We put all of our materials through the harshest conditions before it’s in your mailbox waiting to be worn by you. All of our beads, gold coated charms, chains, clasps, hoops... everything. 

Here’s how we test our materials:

We put all of the materials in a glass of water by the windowsill, so it’s exposed to sunlight, and let it sit in the water for 4 weeks straight. 

And then, just to be 100% sure it ain’t going to tarnish on you… we add a pinch of salt to the water and let it sit in that for an extra 4 weeks. 

The result? 

... No colour fade, no tarnish, no rust.
